how to create setup file


hi all
i know how to create an "rpm" package, in linux, for my gtk code...(here i used ".spec" file)
but how to create a ".exe" setup file in windows, for the gtk code..
can you please explain me about this.and also provide me a good tutorial.

any help it should be appreciable

Are you asking how to cross-compile a GTK Windows executable from Linux?

mingw32 allows you to compile executables for windows under linux.

I think he means something like installshield, which creates setup files for installation of applications.
The most notable (imho) open-source alternatives to installshield are inno-setup and winamp-setup. You can find documentation on their pages.
