FIFO in QT

Hie all

I wish to use the FIFO in QT like we use in normal linux (am well versed with this one) to have an interprocess communication between RT and QT. How do I do this.
Please help.

What language are you using QT with (I assume C++, but there are bindings for lots of others)?

Hie

For the communication between RT and Linux I was using C. But since QT has to be done in C++ I am using C++ for QT but still with C for RT. I guess using different languages should not matter if I can somehow open up the device files. but again i dunno there are a lot of issues which need to be answered before I even start this work...As i have not seen any work of such kind before...so kinda skeptical..
