Hi!
I am looking for a cross compilation program for (as the title of this thread says) making a Windows binary. The source code is written using Linux-only shared libraries, so I would like it to be able to compile these into .dll-files.
I have heard of both Cygwin and MinGW. However, I cannot find the source packages for those two. Well, I
did find it for
MinGW, but the configure scripts contained strange Windows-textfile characters, so it would not install. I reckon it was meant for a Windows compilation. The packages I downloaded were:
Code:
gcc-g++-3.4.2-20040916-1-src.tar.gz
mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz
w32api-3.6-src.tar.gz
binutils-2.15.91-20040904-1-src.tar.gz mingw32-make-3.80.0-3-src.tar.bz2
Am I using the wrong packages?
Where can I find the Linux MinGW or Cygwin compilers?
What alternative alternative compilers are there that I can use for this purpose?
