Combo,combo box and combo entry box diff

Hi,

I want one desire from combo...widget...It has to be uneditable widget... I have tried with combo box but it looks pale. I need the look of combo entry box and the functionality of combo box i.e uneditable.

How do i achieve it?.

So what library are you using (GTK+ 2.0? Qt? Motif? Something else entirely?)

What have you tried?

Precisely what didn't you like, and precisely what didn't work?

What other alternatives would you be willing to consider?

I am using GTK-2.0...
I triend with GtkComboBoxEntry but in this one editable is possible but i dont want that property...
In ComboBox we can achieve it but it volatiles white feel...
so...what is your suggestion,,,,for uneditable property...in GtkComboBoxEntry .....

Can't you just set "gtk_widget_set_sensitive()" on your widget to "false"?

That is not desired one Mr.paulsm4.....I think u r not getting my actual problem.. if i do sensitive false then i am unable to select any entry in that combo box..right...

So.....any other input from u
