A newbie is seeking for document about linux programing


Hello everyone.
I am learning programing. I can use Pascal, Visual Basic and C# language.
Please Suggest where I could find detail document about how to write a program for linux

I think you should first learn decent C. I am currently reading a very good book about Linux programming though ("Linux programming by example, The fundementals", Arnold Robbins) . You can also have a look in tldp.org and google with "glibc programming tutorial".

Pascal and Visual Basic are not.
C# language only support M$ monopoly. The less
using M$ stuffs, the better.
