Hi I hope a link is allowed on here. This is not a question and I'm probably behind times but I just found this and thought it was interesting: http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver...os/linux/lcds/ So far I have told several people. Well, I do have a question. From my understanding of this it is also possible for someone to just browse using a Linux browser? The information I read said that this one man used this to just check out if he liked linux as a web browser. I have friends who would like to explore linux without downloading. Is this actually possible?

Yeah I've been looking into buying a LCDS System 9672 G6 Model ZX7 (10 way processor) with 32GB of RAM for a while to keep my house warm...

Quite seriously cheers for the link, while I know about Linux's support for the S/390 severs I haven't read the site so thats cool...

As for your question I don't understand what you are asking. Part of your question sounds like "can you browse the web on Linux" in which case the answer is most definately yes (often faster than you can on other operating systems), yet part of your question reads like "can Linux be demonstrated through a browser for people who don't want to download and install it" in which case the answer is no...

Jamie... (a little confused)

PS Quite interesting what you have *your* homepage set to!

In a (much restricted) way u can explore Linux/BSD without installing by using a shell account. This wont do for most ppl tho as theyre not interested in CLI power but the GUI stuff...

Talking The site says you can browse using linux

Hi sorry about the confusion. I read a review that said you can browse using a linux browser without actually having a linux operating system. At least that was my understanding and I was wondering if I was correct. It was advertising a way to "try out" linux. Oh that ad was for the site I posted.
