I Installed Enlightenment, now i am working on getting the nm-applet to show up in the systemtray.
per arch wiki I removed the network-manager-applet, had yorgat add this, ( or how ever it is spelled, I alias it in my bashrc to yt)
Quote:
Appindicator
Appindicator support is available in nm-applet however it is not compiled into the official package, see FS#51740. To use nm-applet in an Appindicator environment, replace network-manager-applet with network-manager-applet-indicatorAUR and then start the applet with the following command:
$ nm-applet --indicator
|
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...r#Appindicator
I get a core dump.
Code:
userx@manjaroieo:~
$ nm-applet --indicator
(process:14343): nm-applet-ERROR **: 09:01:08.931: Error: --indicator requested but indicator support not available
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

:: nm-connection-editor-indicator and libnm-gtk are in conflict. Remove libnm-gtk? [y/N] y
due to conflict I had to remove that.
before I get to hacking away on this thing to a point I screw it up too much.
anyone know the peoper steps to take to get nm-applet to show up in their system tray?
and how do I remove the app I had yorgat install if need be?
Code:
Packages (3) libnm-gtk-1.8.18-2 [removal]
network-manager-applet-indicator-1.8.19+dev+18+gf7307cb6-1
nm-connection-editor-indicator-1.8.19+dev+18+gf7307cb6-1
this is me trying to remove them.
Code:
userx@manjaroieo:~
$ yt -R network-manager-applet-indicator-1.8.19+dev+18+gf7307cb6-1
error: target not found: network-manager-applet-indicator-1.8.19+dev+18+gf7307cb6-1
userx@manjaroieo:~
$ yt -R network-manager-applet-indicator
