zip drive installation


I would like to know how to configure a removable usb zip drive (Iomega 100mb)

Thanks for any help.

Just plug the drive into a USB port. If this is the only USB or SCSI storage device the drive should be /dev/sda.

Create a directory to the mount the drive using the console mkdir command.
To mount:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/<mount_point>

Look at Mandrake control center in the hardware detection GUI to see if the drive is recognized.
