Hello everybody,

I've just upgraded from 9.1 to 10.1 and I've encountered a couple of problems, viz:

I can't access my Zip drive (100Meg parallel) although it appears in /etc/fstab. It worked in 9.1. There is an icon on the desktop but it comes up as an empty file although I can list the contents as root in a terminal window by cding to /mnt/zip and doing ls -l.
Secondly, for some reason I now have 3 cdroms listed in /mnt. I actually have a dvd rom as hdc and a dvd burner as hdd.

Any suggestions as to how to overcome the above, particularly the zip drive problem?

open file manager "super user" go to your /mnt directory and click on the zip folder , if you have a disk in , can you see your files on that disk?

No, it worked once and next time it didn't. I've gone back to 9.1 while I do some research.
