where is bash programming doc.


mandrake 10.0

i am searching for manual or doc. for bash shell programming in side the system.

#man for -------------->it opens the tel for loop help.

so obviously where is the bash shell for loop help.

man bash

Sparse as it is, that's the documentation for the 'for' loop (about a page under the "Compound command" heading.

If you need more than that, check out the bash scripting howto.
