What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running

That output is a prompt from the script. If your C header files are located in /usr/source/linux/include, you can simply press the ENTER key to continue. If they are at a different location, enter the correct path, then press the ENTER key to continue.

HTH,

The quoted error message is sometimes an indication that you need to install the kernel-*-devel package corresponding to your current running kernel.

install the kernel source

Like the person above every time I have run into this script warning it means that the kernel source headers need to be installed. Once that is done you should have no problems with the vmwareconfig.pl script
