Two little Gnome problems and 1 KDE problem....?
Hi folks - two little issues with Gnome that have just cropped up - very strange....
In Gnome 'ONLY' the Clock on the menubar is an hour behind - if I click on it to change it, that panel is showing the correct time!!! Wots going on with that then? It's fine in KDE. Also when I click on "superuser file manager" in KDE it gives me the root password dialog box - in Gnome it doesn't - which means /root etc are locked - I have to log in as 'root' to make changes in Gnome now.... :-S The Mandrake Control Centre still asks for the root password though.... weird.
I also have a mouse prob in KDE if I bring my mouse down to the bottom of the screen (where the menu bar is hidden for me anyways) it doesn't bring it up, and if I keep the mouse traveling down it reappears an inch from the top of the screen... ad infinitum. The only way to get the menu bar to appear now is to click a mouse button when the mouse is in the vicinity of the menubar (which brings up one of the menu options) the bar then miraculously appears.... anyone experienced this?? It's very strange
Any ideas what I've done or wot's gone wrong - these probs only started appearing in the last few days....
