Unhappy there is an error in the video configuration


guys, i dont know why when choose mandrake at booting i go to the console, no GUI, i typed startx at the console, i t didnt work, how can I reconfigure it or find a software that may adjust the video problem, please be more specific. i have a sony notebook model (PCG-GRZ610) (with XGA TFT) screen, please anyone who can help???????????????????

Try here. Although the instructions are for RH8.0, they may help in your case.
