Swap partitioning of hard drive

I need three partitions of 50G in a 160G hard drive. I also need three swaps for each of the linux partitions. How big should they be? Also, how do I boot to these partitions?

1. why do you need three partitions?
2. why would you need a separate swap partition for each of the three above?

Generally, when installing linux, even multiple boot, you need only the one swap partition. The same partition can be safely used by all installed linuxes.

As a general guide, the swap partition should be twice the size of your installed RAM to a maximum of 512-1024Mb (If you have more than 512Mb of RAM, you may well benifit from running linux without any swap space at all!)
