Should I try Madrake 64bit

I have an 64bit AMD processor. Will Mandrake 10 64bit improve my system's performance?

What about SATA HDDs?

I don't know about the performance... if I had an 64bit system I would definetly try the 64bit version. But I have an Intel D865PERL mobo and I have 2 IDE drives on SATA connectors with SATA->IDE adapters and it works flawlessly with MDK10.
