Mandriva 2011
I have a local webserver with apache, MySQL and PHP. How can I put Safe Mode Off?
In /etc/php.ini
Safe Mode Off
But if I use the web server Safe Mode is on and it is also on according to phpinfo. I have looked in hpptd.conf, but I did not find any setting there to change.
How did you install PHP? If you compiled it yourself then the php.ini may reside somewhere else. I. e. if you installed PHP in /usr/locaL/PHP5 you can probably find it in /usr/local/PHP5/etc
It is regular Mandriva php packages that I have used. According to phpinfo /etc/php.ini is used and there are no php.ini in /etc/phpd, which is another alternative place for additional php.ini according to phpinfo.
