Problems with MDK 10.0

equinox: I agree with you on your last point. Though I dismissed it earlier, now that I've sat down and laboured with the issue I've come to realise that Mandrake 10.0 seems incapable of offering me decent 3D performanced through my GeForce FX 5200. I'll stick around till 10.0 Official, but unless I see some performance, I'll might try out the nearest KDE 3.2 equiped distro.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that

I just installed the nvidia drivers with no problems...

Am I the only one who's KNotify seems to crash every other time KDE starts?
Heh.. I don't even know what it is and how it's crashing affects my life.

Oh, and yesterday the whole damn thing crashed really good, like the pent up frustration of years of not crashing manifestated itself in the form af a utter lockdown. Music started to loop, cursor didn't move, keyboard didn't work and I couldn't ssh in.
I didn't loose any data so there's no actual damage done... so, I'll hope it was a once in a lifetime -event.
