Hey all:

OK, here's a strange problem.

I just finished downloading and burning the 3 ISO's for Mandrake 10 Community. I have three computers at home, two desktops and a latop. They are all set to boot from CD first.

On my Toshiba laptop, no problems booting ISO-1 into the installer.

On my (actually, my girlfriend's) Windows box, no problems booting ISO-1 into the installer.

On my desktop running Slackware, the computer will not boot from the CD. It pauses, like it is going to, then just ignores it. But wait, the same computer WILL boot from other 'boot' CDs, like Knoppix, the Slackware installation CD, etc...

Of course, this is the only computer I actually want to install it on...grrrr.

Anyone else having a problem? Help?

Same issue here...

Check the CD 1, install.htm instructions, you just need to make a boot floppy then it will access the CDrom, other ways as well.

This is a known problem, if you look on their qa page it says to boot from CD2, then put CD1 back in when it asks (it tells you this is the wrong CD and to put CD1 in right away).
