music player

Hi,
I am using mandriva 2007 and i want to have a small music playing application that can play music while i am working. I know that mplayer can play most formats but its kind of heavy.
I have installed Xmms (mainly because i am a great fan of winamp). But xmms does not play wma format and avi. I tried to do
urpmi xmms-wma
but i keep getting no such package message. Does any one knows where i can get that package . Or is there some other player that supports most of the common music formats....

Also, is it possible to import the playlist of winamp to some linux application.(i hate to create the entire lists again)...

thanx

You might want to have a look at audacious. It's an updated fork of xmms that supports most of the old features, while adding improved gtk2 menus and such.

Their plugins pack is pretty comprehensive, but according to their site, wma support has to be installed separately for Mandriva users.
