Anyone had any joy getting 3D acceleration with a Radeon Mobility 9700 on MDK 10.1 PPC? The bundled radeon(fglrx) driver claims to support hardware acceleration with Xorg 6.7.0, but I have Xorg 6.7.0 installed and I ain't getting any :/
Nope no luck here and I'm not about to try and compile Xorx 6.8.1 on this puppy either I think ATI should stick with XFree86 & Xorg versions that match the latest Linux releases instead of being one step ahead all the time or at least archive some of the older drivers for those of us who arn't up to the task of compileing all this stuff with a tarball and somewhat half-ass instructions !!!!!! I'll just have to wait until Mandrake and ATI have matching versions so all I have to contend with is the ATI driver (why didn't I buy NVidia!!! )
