Hey guys,

I installed the driver for my dell wireless 1450 pcmia card using ndiswrapper and the windows driver.

Im running the mandriva 2006 distro of the ultimate linux dvd

The install went fine, however when the driver appeared to be installed, the signal strength was stuck at 1 bar. I was however to get perfect wifi connectivity.

When i reboot the system now, it hangs up ever timg

When its checkin hardware i starts to check network parameters or devices and it gets:

Eth1 [ OK ]
Sit1 [ OK ]
wlan 0


and thats where it hangs up, eth0 is the wireless setting.

Any help would be greatly appriciated

The only suggestion I have is that you use the interactive mode during
startup (press I) and do not boot eth0
then tweak the settings, maybe not making eth0 to start on boot (until you can it to work)
