Mandrake10 will not boot to Win98

Installed Mandrake10 with a dual boot to Win98... Problem: though the option is there, Mandrake will not boot to Win98. Message computers gives after rebooting is:" Invalid Disk, replace and hit enter." Hitting enter only takes me to menu where i can only boot to linux or the floppy but not to Win98. Anyone know the problem?

What bootloader are you using (describe your boot menu)?
What is your partition configuration? 'fdisk -l' will tell you.

In your Linux, there is a /etc/lilo.conf file. Post it's contents here.
What was the configuration before Linux was installed?

Not sure what you want for previous conf. both OSs are fresh on low formated disk. Here is what I found:
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
default="linux"
keytable=/boot/us.klt
prompt
nowarn
timeout=100
message=/boot/message
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="linux"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="devfs=mount resume=/dev/hda7 splash=silent acpi=ht"
vga=788
read-only
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="linux-nonfb"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="devfs=mount resume=/dev/hda7 acpi=ht"
read-only
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="failsafe"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="failsafe resume=/dev/hda7 devfs=nomount acpi=ht"
read-only
other=/dev/fd0
label="floppy"
unsafe
other=/dev/hda1
label="windows"

Hope this helps

I'm currently dual booting Mandrake 10 with WinME. Here's my working lilo.conf.

# File generated by DrakX/drakboot
# WARNING: do not forget to run lilo after modifying this file

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
default="linux"
keytable=/boot/us.klt
prompt
nowarn
timeout=100
message=/boot/message
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="linux"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="devfs=mount acpi=ht splash=silent"
vga=788
read-only
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="linux-nonfb"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="devfs=mount acpi=ht"
read-only
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="failsafe"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="failsafe acpi=ht devfs=nomount"
read-only
other=/dev/hda1
label="windows"
table=/dev/hda
other=/dev/fd0
label="floppy"
unsafe

Hope this help you out.
