Mandrake Linux 10 Installation Problems
I am attempting to install Mandrake Linux 10 from my harddrive. I have copied all 3 cd's into one drive (C:\ in Dos, hdb1 in linux). I insert the boot CD I burned and went through the drive selection and partition selection. Keep in mind that my file structure on that drive is identical to the three CD's combined. (basically CD1 structure with an added "boot" folder and "rpms2" and "rpms3". The last 2 are in the mandrake folder, the first is just on the drive.) On the directory selection, I typed /Mandrake/. It gave me an error screen and told me I needed to use the subdirectory /Mandrake/base/. So I do this - It gives me the error screen again. Aside from the subdirectory part again, it also says
"Here's a short extract of files in this directory:
compss
compssus
depslist.ord
hdlist1.cz
hdlist2.cz"
Any advice?
Thanks in advance for any help.
