Mandrake 10 p2p programs?


Anyone know some p2p programs that will work on mandrake 10? I have tried gtk-gnutella, but it doesent do anything when I search.

Do you have a firewall running? If you have you have to open a port for the traffic generated by gtk-gnutella, don't remember which port though it's been a long time since I used it.

You might also try dcgui-qt, you can get it here

I use xMule (similar to aMule). Im going to install Mandrake 10 this weekend with VMWare, install windows and see how Shareaza works on that.

Its a shame that good programs wont support cross-platform

i had the same problem with gtk. it just takes a long time for it to find a connection. once it does it's great.

i have the same video card as you, and im wondering how you set it up - i just installed slackware 10 and i cant get X to load, i tried going back to mandrake 9 because i know with my last card X loaded the first time, but now that i have this card im getting the same problem as i did w/ slackware
i installed the nvidia drivers and edit xf86config and all that good stuff, but X just doesnt seem to wanna load
