While tryng to configure my TV tuner I accidentally created a /dev/video0 directory, which now contains several subdirectories. No problem, it seems, I may delete it, that's fine; however, after the system reboot, the directory is automatically re-created. Is there a way to get rid of this once and for all?
Finally, I've come to a resolution: the /dev directory is somewhat "mirrored" in the /lib/dev-state directory. The deletion of video0 directory there caused it not to be re-created during start-up.
