locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: Invalid argument

Greetings,

I updated my 2006.1 install and am getting this message each time I start the console.

locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: Invalid argument

locale returns this..

Code:
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: Invalid argument
LANG=en_US
LC_CTYPE=en_US
LC_NUMERIC=en_US
LC_TIME=en_US
LC_COLLATE=en_US
LC_MONETARY=en_US
LC_MESSAGES=en_US
LC_PAPER=en_US
LC_NAME=en_US
LC_ADDRESS=en_US
LC_TELEPHONE=en_US
LC_MEASUREMENT=en_US
LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_US
LC_ALL=
Tried resetting the language via local drake. etc/environment is empty but that doesn't seem to matter.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

locales configuration

from a terminal, run: # dpkg-reconfigure locales

and then set all the locales, with the iso, and the utf-8.
you could look around for info on how to set it. there is plenty of documentation.
One last thing, I configured the general environment or something similar to en_us.

Note: this dpkg command, i think only goes with debian.
