Was wondering if there is any way that i can ajust the keyboard key speed cause sometimes when i type in a passowrd to fast it can't quite catch all the words and will have to type it in slower for it to get all the words. I don't see anything under the keyboard setup in mcc, cause it only has to select the keyboard language.
Hello, it seems you have to set the keyboard repeat rate. I've done this once, but it was like a year ago, so unfortunately I don't remember how to set it. I have some vague recollection of fiddling with /etc/XF86Config-4, but... Well...
If you use KDE, open the KDE Control Center, now called Configure your Desktop in Mandrake, Open Peripherals, Select Keyboard. There you can set the repeat rate and delay time
Thanks for the responses. have changed the repeat rate and is much better. Why i didn't know that as it was so simple, must have thought it had something to do with the system setup.
