Kernel 2.4.22 Problem

Looking in the changelog for 2.4.22 I noticed they did some redoing of the steal_locks() ... well it appears to have confused mandrake, like many things do....

I have been able to compile any straight right-from-kernel.org source and have it work perfectly fine giving you know what you must do (ie supermount patch and all that other fun stuff for full support)...

Anyways with the new 2.4.22 version:

I lost what it said exactly, but its in the exec.c line 593.. error doing steal_locks(files) ... too few arguments. Sounds like version problems (who knows what the hell Mandrake is doing).

Havent seen it brought up at all yet, but I know its the version because I just got done successfully compiling 2.4.21

Did you use the /boot/config file and run make oldconfig?
