Installing Fedora C1 with MDK9.2

Let me revive this thread.

I have 20GB hd that was partitioned into 2 of 10GBs.
In one partition, I have installed MDK9.2 in these partitions :

- hdb1 500MB /swap
- hdb5 200MB /boot
- hdb7 1500MB /
- hdb8 3500MB /usr
- hdb9 4200MB /home

I have hdb6 fat32 10GBs partition that still empty.

I tried to install Fedora Core1 on hdb6.
When I reached the time to prepare the partition, I could not get /boot or / for Fedora because anaconda installer could not make primary partition on it.
What should I do about this ? I could not afford to jeopardize the MDK9.2 system. I have searched in this forum for the solution but no luck so far.
Thanks in advance.

ok. I have a HP Pavilion 750c with 1.8 processor and 512 RAM I have a 80GB HD. I have the following partitions:

Windows-------------------> 65GB
HP Restore Partition-----> 5GB
/-----------------------------> 2.5 GB
/home----------------------> 2.5GB

I am using Mandrake 9.2 and also Windows XP. I am going to resize my Windows Partition and get 5GB more. I want to install Slackware on it but the only thing I want to know is about LILO. What should I do? When my computer starts I get this MDK9.2 Lilo Screen with the following options:
linux
linux-fb (What does this mean?) What is this for?
Windows
floppy
I want to know if I have to edit LILO on Mandrake or just install the new LILO that comes with Slackware.

Thanks in advance,

XPediTioN
