Drakx crash

Error message:The "drakconf.real" program has crashed with the following error:

SEGV
standalone::bug_handler() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/standalone.pm:220
standalone::__ANON__() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/mygtk2.pm:1436
(eval)() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/mygtk2.pm:1436
mygtk2::flush() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk2.pm:57
ugtk2::gtkflush() called from /usr/sbin/drakconf.real:1076

Do anyone know what is the problem and how to fix it? It happened after an update of mandriva one 2010. If no solution is put forward I will simply reinstall and just not update. Thank you very much before hand.

/Cheers

Possibly, it's an incomplete upgrade. Can you get to be root in terminal and do:

urpmi -v --auto-update

Also, copy/paste the output of the following back here:

urpmq --list-url

That can be done as normal user and be careful if you have restricted repositories as root can see the log in credentials.

The sources look correct. All I can suggest, atm, is to run the update command, tell if anything gets installed.

solution

I have solved the problem by reinstalling drakxtools and drakx-net along with dependencies as they need the old dependencies and not the new updated ones.This is probably due to a mix up in version between my base installation, updated programs and dependencies.
