does mandrake 10 use xfree?

i was thinking aobut upgrading mdk 10 to use xfree86 4.4. i've heard something about xfree and x.org being fairly similar. what's the default one that mdk 10 installs? i try remove software and find xfree 4.3 . however, when i launch the system monitor, i don't see a spot for 'xfree'...only one for 'x' (whatever 'x' is). what's the x.org product that people are talking about? and are there any benefits to upgrading?

Mandrake 10 uses xfree but newer versions will use xorg.

Here is the link , as for upgrading, I don't think it's worth it. Every big distro is moving to xorg because of liscencing issues, not technological one. You wouldn't see any difference or improvement.
