Cd Burning

im trying to use the K3b cd burning software that comes with mandrake 9.1, and it will not detect my cdrw drive. when i do the setup, it shows that it is there, but then when i open up the actual burning software, it wont show up in the list of drives. how can i fix this

well, you can try reading through ALL that documentation, however, there was a link awhile ago but k3b works funny with Mandrake. you have to do some weird editing and it'll work. I had the same problem as you. Search the forum for k3b or CD burning.

This may be a stupid question but did you logoff and logon after setup?
