9.2: Standby after five minutes!

This starts to aggrevate me! Mandrake 9.2 sends my monitor to standby after only five minutes. It's impossible to watch movies this way, coz I have to move the mouse every five minutes.

In 9.1 I used to be able to turn automatic standby off in KDE through the settings. But now the settings have no effect. No matter whether I set them to 60 minutes or turn them off completely. In some thread I read that I have to write "apm=off" in my lilo.conf to turn it auto standby off completely but that does not do anything either. Someone said, I should kill the process "apmd" (-> doesn't change anything) and kapmd (-> can't kill that one).

Any other suggestions?

D'oh!

Thanks, that did it! What #&%!&! set the screensaver to a black screen after 5 minutes as default? I'm sure, quite a few people are going to have the same problem.
