For all you guys who cant compile the Geforce drivers, as I said, you need the correct kernel source for your kernel. Go to the "Install New Software" option in the Mandrake control panel, serach for kernel-source, and download the *correct* one for your kernal. Your kernel should be version
2.4.22-10mdk
if you haven't updated it or
2.4.22-21mdk
if have (or got the LG cd-rom fixed version or something).
However, before you download this, you have to set up the package download repositories. If you havent done this already, go to this site which explains how.

NOTE: THIS IS FREE! You only have to pay to use the Mandrake repositories, and they are only 1 of many (kind of like tucows has many mirrors...). Therefore you DO NOT have to pay to get the kernel sources.
Once you have the correct source downloaded, download the nvidia graphics driver, sh it, and all is peachy.
mtnbikerjerry, nforce is a type of Motherboard, not video card (although they often have integrated graphics). You will require the graphics driver, which WILL install properly if you download the correct kernel source first.
Billy Bob, I think 4499 is for AMD64, at any rate, 4496 will work for you, I have been using it since it was released with no hastles.
BTW: It is NOT nVidia's fault, their drivers wouldnt install, it was really Mandrake's fault for not including the kernel-sources in the default install. However once you get them there is no hastle installing the drivers at all.
