9.2 Iso's

New to Linux.. went to load Nvidia and found I needed Kernel source - not on disk 3. D/l'd etc and all is well.
???
I was wondering to myself what else I may need that wasn't put on the cd's because of space ( if the kernel source isn't there what else isn't ) - understand this is the first Linux install that I have done

I found on the web iso's that claim to be updated and extended.

would these be worth D/L'ing??

I'd say stick to downloading what you need, when you need it.... OR buy the powerpack and get a lot of goodies
