9.2 Iso's

are the ISO's not available for download yet? all the links on the mandrake site just bring you directories with all the files from what i can see. If they arent released yet any idea when they will be?

Piratu,

I went to supernova.org and couldnt find anything stating how it works? I assume it's like a newsgroup but as I said, no instructions? Can you explain please?

Thanks

The BitTorrent program allows the sharing of files between users. You download the program, http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html and there are sites such as supernova that support Torrent downloads. Its a sharing community whereby as your downloading something you are also uploading to someone else.

Thanks for the info,

After I posted, I downloaded it and tried using it repeatedly but the errors were too much! I was trying to download Mandrake 9.2 from suprnova.org, although it said many downloads had taken place, every time I tried, I got an error so I had to give up.
Oh well, 9.1 will have to do for now.

Thanks Again

maybe you should just try downloading it with shareaza. Ar eyou able to download teh torrent files? If you have shareaza installed, the torrent will automatically open in shareaza and begin downloading.

just do a network install, create a boot floppy from the network image, boot it up using that then enter your local 9.2 raw tree mirror.

worked great for me and install times were not much slower than doing it from CD (but then again Im on a 100mbit link )
