System update of 6/22

I'm just wondering if there is a place somewhere (official or otherwise) that offers explanations of the system updates such as the one from yesterday. Maybe it is not necessary information for the casual user?

I did look up this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fglrx#Linux

Thanks.

Would help if you said what 'system' you're using. The patches/updates are usually accompanied by release notes, indicating what changed. These are also mirrored on the websites of the various distros. For examples, openSUSE has a small blurb that says what the update does, and you can drill down into it on their website, to see what it addresses/changes. Red Hat also releases change-notes.
