I'm not a Sage support guy, but I'll try to help a fellow LQ member (and Slackware, Firefox user at that ):

Firstly, create a new folder in your Firefox bookmarks and call it News Feeds (the name doesn't actually matter, but this is just an example).

Now it's time to populate this folder ... Let's add the Slackware forum feed there. Right click this link: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi..._slackware.xml

And choose Bookmark This Link... from the context menu. In the Name field, type LQ's Slackware Forum.

Expand the bookmark folder list by clicking the Arrow Down button, and select the News Feeds folder. Finally, click the Add button.

Now go to the View top menu, select Sidebar and finally Sage. Sage should appear as a sidebar. Click the Options button and choose Settings from the dropdown menu.

At the Select Feed Folder dropbox, choose News Feeds and click on the OK button.

You should be all set now

how to post on linuxquestions.org

I just recently became a member of linuxquestions.org. I've been wanting to post my questions but I can't seem to be able to find a "post" button or anything that woudl allow me to start a post. Can someone shed a few lights and tell me how I would be able to post and ask questions? Thank you.

go on a forum, where the subject fits it, click post new thread. Type you message, click send.

You first need to go in a forum before...

Sorry for the delay. If you would like to use either the slackware or security specific feeds please use the following URL's:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi..._slackware.xml
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d_security.xml

You can still use http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/backend.php for the general feed.

Jeremy -- This is very nice!

If it's not too much trouble, I wonder if you could create a feed for the Solaris forum too?

Many of the more popular distros already have an LQ RSS feed. For example:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/debian.xml
http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/fedora.xml
http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/slackware.xml
http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/suse.xml
http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/redhat.xml
