Affero is still very much active. That contest is over, but another one should be coming soon.

Are there ANY FEES WHATSOEVER for Affero?
I understand that you pay to affero somebody else.
But do they charge you if somebody afferos you?
I'm curious how they get the funds to run Affero.

You can actually use the affero rating system without making a donation, but of course adding funds to a good cause is always nice. When you do choose to make a donation they get a very small percentage.

Thanks for clearing that up.
But do you have to pay to sign up for an account, and are you charged if somebody likes what you did for them and afferos you?

no, you dont have to pay.
no, you arent charged if someone affero you.
donation goes to your selected organisations.
such as LQ, FSF, ACRS, ARC, XFree, ext.
