View more than 25 threads on the "view new posts" page

When I click on "View new posts" it will only show up to a maximum of 25 threads per page.

Can this be increased (personally I'd like to just see all threads, no matter how many on one single page)

I realize your sustained bandwidth will increase momentarily if a lot of people do this and their new posts page is very long (in the hundreds of new threads, say after a week(end) of not checking the site) so it may not be a good idea unless you have the bandwidth to spare.

Not to mention about extra CPU cycles it's going to take to prepare the page.

So I don't really see it happening quite yet but I had to ask and suggest it in case the server's upgraded in future so it will be able to handle it

there's a posts per thread setting under user cp/edit options, 40 per page is as high as it will go at present.

that's not the thing I was refering to actually.

when you go to the home page, you'll see a link called "View New Posts" in the top right hand corner under the "User Login" box. The page you get by following that link only displays up to 25 threads per page
