Url tags do not always wrap urls correctly

I noticed a trivial bug, but I figured its worth mentioning anyways.

Usually when posting an url LQ will automatically wrap it with url tags.

For example.

https://www.linuxquestions.org/

However when I tried to post this url I it wraps incorrectly before the '[]'.

Of course, I can always preview the post to make sure it worked correctly and edit the post to manually fix it.

Square brackets are generally considered "unsafe" in URLs and should always be encoded. When vBulletin tried to encapsulate a URL it's assuming that the url is complete at the unsafe right square bracket (which I'm sure you're aware is also the start of bbCode entities).

Try ensuring that any URLs you post are "safe", and if not then manually type the [url][/url] tags and paste the URL in between them rather than manually having to edit the post afterwards.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll get this addressed in a future update.
