UPDATE - Recent Downtime

New hardware has been installed and tested. I will be bringing the site down in a bit to migrate the DB back to the new server.

The database has been migrated back and I will start re-enabling features now. If you notice anything strange please let me know ASAP. Thanks again to ASL for helping to resolve the hardware issue so quickly.

the only thing strange i've noticed is the disappearing posts, i've made about 5 which have been there after i've posted them, but have just disappeared after.
oh, i just checked on one of them (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=120817) and my post has reappeared, but i just checked on another one (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...770#post628770) and it's not there, btw it's not the one at the top of the page, i have made several posts in that thread, i made the disappearing one after.
also i posted after Abe_the_Man in this thread - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...=&pagenumber=2
EDIT: i have no idea why i'm posting this, it'll probably not appear anyway
