Unique identification of Mint

When you post a message an icon appears to tell people the distro/OS you were using when you posted.

Linux Mint identifies as Ubuntu.

Is it possible for the site to tell them apart? I know that Mint is built on Ubuntu, but it'd be nice to represent Mint (as it is my OS of choice)

I do love this feature all the same though.

Yeah I have no idea. I just noticed my posts have an Ubuntu logo when I post on my desktop (Mint)

We do detect Mint if it appears in the UA, although it's possible for some versions it doesn't by default.
