but all mods that can allow my first thread to exist appear to be dead or something. Help?

Well, thanks. I was actually surprised this thread DID post That's a good start...Was starting to think this forum was dead. But what about the thread I was trying to post in the netbook forum. Is that still in a moderator queue or did something go wrong? How long does it usually take before user's first threads get approved/rejected?

Looks like posts #1 and #3 above are the only ones you have posted in the forums. Would you like to try resubmitting your post to the Netbook forum? Posts tend to be, er... posted pretty much instantly with the mods reviewing them live so to speak (At least, that's my impression) They'll move the post or close it or whatever if it's inappropriate in any way but with an explanation.
