the site's img tags could use title and/or alt text

Note: I'll understand if this requires some huge php re-write and thus isn't going to happen.

I'd like to see the img tags (at least the "buttons") include title= and/or alt= options as well, since the controls for the forums seem to be all images. In addition to bringing the pages closer to compliance with the w3c standards, this would allow me to use the site sans images, which I find is a good bit faster.

If there's some other way to use the site without loading images, please let me know.

All of the nav buttons currently use alt.

Thanx for your quick response,
sadly my silly, stubbornly-standards-compliant browser insists that alt in img tags is incorrect and only uses the title attribute. (Firebird)
Aah, well, I'll figure something out...

thanx again.

Adding a title tag doesn't seem to help. I'll have to look into this.
