Sorry for not clarifying... What I'm trying to say is that this e-mail you are trying to use maybe already registered, and possibly you can send the password reset to the new account to see if I am or am not correct.
Oh.... I think I see what you are trying to do now Anisha. Do you have an actual account for the other email? Or do you just get the LQ bulletins to it?
I am not able to understand whatever you are saying:
I have a mail id in which I get my personal mails + LQ bulletin.
The above said mail id is which I want to set as my default mail id on LQ since my PM Inbox is nearly full.
Your best bet is to email Jeremy and let him know the changes you need making. I have the feeling that the email address is linked to your account by some sort of vB magic and Jeremy needs to change it elsewhere.
I may also be wrong, but since Jeremy is the BDFL he has the powah!
It is, but since you'll need to let Jeremy know which email address will replace the existing one, you'll probably want to keep that off the open forums. Also, by their nature, Jeremy is likely to check his email more than the forums.

An email address can only be associated with a single LQ account. If you're getting that error, the email address in question is already associated with an account. If you don't know the username of that account, the password reset request will include that information.

Thanks for saying that man, I was trying to get at that before but didn't know how to say it.
