Spread the love

Gotta be something amiss. Last few times times I've attempted to bump rep (rather than "was this helpful" button, been rejected with "you gotta spread the love before you can love this guy/gal again".
No "again" about it - something is cock-eyed here jeremy.

To prevent abuse there is a limit to the amount of reputation you can give a single member without giving reputation to different unique members. There is also a time based limit, but you have not hit that.

No argument there - are you saying it is a "key-bounce" problem at my end ?.
Even if so, shouldn't I get the opportunity to add a comment (once) ?. This doesn't happen, and I can't tell if the rep add has occurred or not.

Are you attempting to use the system on a member you have never given rep to and getting that error? If so, please contact me offline with the member name and I'll look into it. If you have used the system on that member previously, it's very likely the system is working as intended.
