Linux Troubleshooting link

Could add a link to the search titled "Linux Troubleshooting" or "Linux Fixes" in the main menu, or add a textbox to the search bullet for quicker searching and make the search page 'advanced' for lack of a better word. coming from windows background exclusively i didn't use many forums so maybe a general forum how to on the homepage. The link from slackware.com links directly to the forum and the posts distracted me from the other available options on the site. Being most look from left to right, could move the menu from the right to the left to ensure it catches the eye first thats why most sites do it. Don't get me wrong, i love this site and greatly appreciate all the help from the members and moderators and am not arguing anything to the contrary. think as a newbie to this site though i would have caught the resources available had they been on the left.

Edit:

I also strongly agree that attempting to enforce useful thread titles would be good for the community as a whole. As well, it might make the thread poster stop and put some more thought into what their problem actually is!

I agree. And while the dialog box is enforcing a useful title, it also could do an automatic search, post a page with links to the answers and provide a poll at the bottom.

Code:
Did this page help solve your problem?

[]Yes, Thank you! []No, I need to post my question.
