Problem with cookies

For some reason my cookies are set to expire within a couple of hours after I login. I searched and found this post.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hlight=cookies

But when I checked my profile and the rest of the stuff in MY LQ nothing was found to make changes to cookies. Even the FAQ was of no help.

Thanks

The problem you linked to was user error (they weren't using cookies). Are you experiencing a problem? If so, are you checking the "Remember Me" box when you log in?

Smile

My cookies were only good for a couple of hours. Had to keep logging in. Just checked my cookies and now I have a more reasonable expiration.

Thanks

have you set cookies to "never expire"? (this would be a setting in your browser- under firefox this is under "preferences" or settings. )

Talking

I use Mozilla but that's what the problem was. I changed the cookie setting and now it's working fine.

Thanks all for the help.
