Umm. I do not know what you are refering to. Could you be a bit more clear?

Do you mean that your product didnt show up? bceause that is normal, it has to be approved by the big cheese before it appears You will get an email from linuxquestions saying that it was approved, and also, you will get a link to it.

Was that your problem?

Nope, the problem was that the "new product" button didn't show up, for some reason I don't know. So in order to post my review I had to write the mentioned url in my browser's address bar.

Then after I'd submitted my review the new product button finally show up, just like it should always do. It only happens in the reviews section as I mentioned.

Yes congrats to the winners, but when you think about it in the end we're all winners as a result of all the new HCL entries, reviews, and posts this site now has as a result of the contest. LinuxQuestions.org is a invaluable resource for me and all users of it.

You have to post a new PRODUCT for the review, not a review of an existing product Doing a review of a product which is allready there doesnt add a number to your counter

Pauli,

Thanks for the clarification. I'll bet I'm not the only one who was confused about that -- which is probably the reason there are so many recent reviews of products such as Slackware. As I wrote my review I was thinking, "why another review, and what 'new info' could I possibly add?"

I encourage you to enter a review for as many products as you can regardless of how many reviews there already are. It's always good to get a different perspective on something.

Agreed. There is a big difference between "one guy says this is a pretty good product" and "19 out of the 20 people who reviewed this product think it is great". Follow up reviews (even very short ones) for products that have served you well make it a lot easier for someone who has just entered the market to get pointed in the right direction.

Thanks in advance for any help. :-)

P.S. - Thanks for the congrats, guys. I look forward to using the prize for testing installs. It's going to make things a whole lot easier. :-)
